Sam + Gracie | Walnut Hill Farm | Chattanooga, Tennessee
Many wedding photographers have horror stories about shooting their friends' weddings. However, moments after I photographed Sam and Gracie getting engaged at Delta Lake in Grand Teton National Park, I knew that I wanted to shoot their wedding. I'm so glad that they agreed!
Every wedding is joyful, but this day was something special. For starters, Gracie is one of the most genuinely happy and uplifting people I know. Her kind spirit and easygoing nature puts everyone around her at ease. Sam has been a dear friend for years, and he was one of the most relaxed grooms I've ever worked with. Also, this group of groomsmen was hilarious. Most of them are friends of mine from college, so we were able to laugh and joke together and make photos that reflect their personalities perfectly. All of the bridesmaids were beautiful, and by the end of the day I felt less like I was working and more like I was spending time with old friends. This day was a wedding photographer's dream.
More importantly, it's a friend's dream to see two people so confident and happy together. At the end of the day, thats what its all about. Congratulations to these special newlyweds!
